Guangzhou, China – In an exciting development for automotive enthusiasts, GAC Group has officially announced that it will host the 2025 GAC Tech Day alongside the launch of the Haobo HL, a mid-to-large-size SUV from its premium Haobo lineup. The event is scheduled for tomorrow, April 12, in Guangzhou. The Haobo HL has already opened for pre-sales, with prices ranging from 279,800 to 329,800 yuan.
The Haobo HL is a striking addition to the SUV market, boasting a design philosophy that GAC refers to as the “Land Yacht.” This concept is evident in the vehicle’s sleek, closed front grille paired with a split-type headlight assembly, which enhances its distinctive appearance. The rear features a contemporary full-width LED light strip, with vertical elements on either side adding depth and visual complexity. Buyers can choose from four exterior colors: Nautical Blue, Ice Rock Gray, Deep Sea Green, and Night Shadow Black.
Inside, the Haobo HL offers a futuristic and luxurious cabin. It is equipped with a floating trapezoidal full LCD instrument panel, a 27-inch W-HUD (Windshield Head-Up Display) system, and a multifunctional three-spoke steering wheel. The centerpiece of the dashboard is a 17.3-inch 3K high-definition touchscreen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and featuring an end-to-end AI voice model. The interior also includes dual 50W fast-charging panels, gradient ambient lighting, seamless smartphone connectivity (HiCar/Carlink/CarPlay), a panoramic sunroof with thermal insulation, power-operated doors with soft-close functionality, a built-in refrigerator, and a 540-degree panoramic parking assist system. The Haobo HL is available in both five-seat and six-seat configurations, with interior color options including Red Cliff Danxia, Iceland Black Sand, and Desert Brown.
In terms of intelligent features, the Haobo HL is equipped with the ADiGO Advanced Driving Assistance System. This system includes a comprehensive suite of safety and convenience features such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA), Smart Parking, Full-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and the NDA 4.0 City Navigation High-Level Driving Assistance System, which covers both highway and urban driving scenarios.

The vehicle boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.268, contributing to its aerodynamic efficiency. Under the hood, the Haobo HL is built on a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform with 5C ultra-fast charging capabilities. It offers both pure electric and range-extender powertrain options. The pure electric version comes in rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The RWD model features a single rear motor producing 250 kW of power and 430 Nm of torque, with battery options of 95.9 kWh and 108.35 kWh, delivering a CLTC range of 670 km and 750 km, respectively. The AWD model combines front and rear motors for a total output of 380 kW and 670 Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds and a CLTC range of 700 km with the 108.35 kWh battery. The range-extender version includes a range extender and a single rear motor with 250 kW of power and 430 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.21 kWh battery. It offers a CLTC pure electric range of 350 km and a combined range of over 1200 km, with standard 5C flash charging that takes just 10 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.
